Location: Holyoke, MA
Pay Rate: $18/hr to $20/hr
Job Type: Full-Time, 1st Shift 8am to 4:30pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Pallet Builder / Forklift Operator to join our team in Holyoke, MA. This role is responsible for constructing pallets, handling materials, and safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and repair wooden pallets using hand and power tools
- Operate a forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks
- Stack, organize, and stage pallets for shipment
- Inspect pallets for quality and structural integrity
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Experience with pallet building or general labor is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
