CHEF / KITCHEN MANAGER
Octobar is a busy cocktail bar and international tapas restaurant in Federal Hill, Baltimore. We are looking for an experienced, motivated Chef/Kitchen Manager who enjoys creating beautiful, delicious food from a diverse menu while taking responsibility for food quality, kitchen operations, and food and labor costs .
This is a hands-on kitchen position for a chef who enjoys cooking, prepping, developing dishes, and providing strong leadership to a small kitchen team . This is an excellent opportunity for a chef ready to take the next step in their career and take on greater culinary leadership . The position is responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen, including ordering, inventory, food preparation, service, staffing, and cost control .
The ideal candidate takes pride in the food they prepare, leads by example, and understands the importance of maintaining quality while controlling costs, minimizing waste, and keeping the kitchen running efficiently.
