Cardiology Financial Coordinator-Cardio. Admin- 40HR Day Shift (M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm) Temple University Hospital

5 day a week in-person position. Ensures financial clearance and reimbursement for services provided to PH/PTE patients and other Cardiology patients as assigned. Reviews and validates summary reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. Serves as an advocate in all matters related to the financial aspects of the Cardiology patients with a focus on PH and PTE. Acts as a liaison for providers as well as patients with insurance carriers.

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience: 2 years experience in health care billing Preferred

General Experience with IDX and SMS Preferred

General Experience with procedure and diagnosis coding. Preferred

General Experience with transplant billing/program operation. Preferred
