Summary Trak group is partnering with a growing client seeking an HR Business Partner to support the full employee lifecycle across a multi-location organization. This role combines hands‑on HR administration with strategic partnership, supporting employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, retention, workforce development, and HR technology . The HR Business Partner will also serve as a key Paycor HRIS subject matter expert , helping improve workflows, reporting, and automation while coaching leaders on employee matters and employment regulations. This is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing day‑to‑day employee support with process improvement and strategic HR initiatives. Responsibilities Manage the full employee lifecycle in Paycor , including onboarding, employee changes, leave administration, performance documentation, and offboarding. Serve as a Paycor HRIS subject matter expert , supporting configuration, workflows, troubleshooting, reporting, and manager training. Identify and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve recurring HR processes and administrative efficiency. Partner with branch and field leadership to develop employee retention and engagement strategies. Support employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, documentation, and issue resolution. Coach managers on company policies and federal and state employment regulations. Support performance management, including performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and terminations . Partner with the HR team and outside counsel on complex employee matters when appropriate. Coach leaders on performance, employee development, change management, and team effectiveness. Research HR best practices, emerging technologies, and new tools that can improve HR operations. Support internal employee communication strategies and ensure consistent communication across locations. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee engagement, and overall business performance. Support multi-state HR compliance , including leave administration, wage and hour requirements, and employee recordkeeping. Advocate for workplace safety and partner with operational leadership to promote a strong safety culture. Must-Haves 3-5 years of HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner experience. Hands-on Paycor HRIS experience , including employee lifecycle transactions, workflows, and reporting. Experience supporting the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding. Hands-on experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations . Experience with performance management, including corrective actions and performance improvement plans. Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations . Experience administering HR policies and procedures across multiple locations or business units. Ability to coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance, and HR policy. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, confidential employee documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word . Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively with employees, managers, leadership, vendors, and other external partners. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline. PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification. Experience configuring and improving Paycor workflows. Experience implementing HR automation, AI tools, or other HR technology solutions . Experience supporting geographically dispersed or multi-state workforces. Exposure to employee retention, engagement, and workforce development initiatives.
