ABOUT NORTHLINE

Northline Roofing is a fast-growing Charlotte-based roofing company building a modern sales and marketing engine around one of the oldest industries out there. We're investing heavily in digital advertising, social media, content, local partnerships, events, and brand awareness to drive homeowners to Northline. Our Outside Sales team runs the appointments. When they don’t close the deal, that's where you come in.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Every month, you'll receive approximately 100-150 opportunities from homeowners who have already met with Northline but haven’t moved forward yet. They may need more time. They may be comparing quotes. They may have questions about financing, scope, insurance, or price. Or maybe they simply need someone to follow up and help them make a decision. Your job is to figure out what stopped the deal, restart the conversation, and get it across the finish line. These aren’t random cold calls. These are real homeowners, real estimates, and real opportunities already in our sales pipeline.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Manage approximately 100-150 new unsold opportunities each month Take over follow-up after an Outside Sales Rep doesn’t close an appointment Call, text, and email homeowners to restart the conversation Identify why the homeowner didn’t move forward and work through objections Re-engage older estimates and opportunities in our CRM Discuss options around pricing, financing, timing, scope, and next steps Close roofing projects directly from the office Coordinate another in-person appointment with Outside Sales when needed Maintain detailed notes, tasks, and follow-up cadences in our CRM Track your close rate, recovered deals, and recovered revenue The leads are already there. The estimates are already built. Your job is to recover the revenue.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You're a closer. "I need to think about it" makes you curious. You want to understand what's actually keeping someone from moving forward. You're great on the phone. You can build rapport quickly, ask direct questions, and have a real conversation without sounding scripted. You understand follow-up. You know that sometimes the difference between a lost deal and a $15,000 sale is simply being the person who followed up one more time. You're competitive. You like having numbers to chase: close rate, deals recovered, and revenue generated. You're organized. With 100-150 new opportunities entering your pipeline each month, nothing can fall through the cracks. You're coachable. We'll provide the training, systems, technology, and support. We expect you to bring the drive and constantly work on getting better.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong communication and phone skills Comfortable making a high volume of calls, texts, and follow-ups Ability to handle rejection and maintain momentum Strong organization and pipeline management skills Comfortable using CRMs, email, texting, and Google Workspace High school diploma or equivalent U.S. work authorization Ability to pass a background check Previous experience in inside sales, automotive sales, real estate, home services, SaaS, insurance, hospitality, or another high-volume sales environment is preferred but not required. Roofing experience is not required. We can teach you roofing. We can teach you our sales process. We're looking for someone who brings the hunger.
