Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Join the team in Cambridge, MA. Use specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians. Perform studies across inpatient and outpatient settings, including radiology, with responsibilities spanning general ultrasound, small parts, vascular studies, OBGYN fetal surveys across trimesters, and select pediatric exams. This opportunity requires flexibility to float between multiple nearby sites and to work rotating weekends.

Minimum Requirements

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ultrasound specialty. (Client requires submission of resume reflecting 3+ years.)
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• ARDMS RDMS credential required at submission.
• Experience with general ultrasound, small parts, vascular (upper and lower extremity venous), OBGYN fetal surveys (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester), and pediatric ultrasound (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception).
• Proficiency performing exams for all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Ability and willingness to float to multiple nearby sites (Cambridge, Somerville, Everett) and perform department tasks across locations.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends.
• Submission requirements: up-to-date resume, two recent manager/supervisor references in matching specialty, skills checklist matching specialty, and driver's license matching demographic information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospital radiology departments.
• Experience with vascular lower and upper extremity venous protocols.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700–1700.
• Rotating weekends required.
• Required to float to multiple nearby sites within the health system.
