Position Overview Responsible for managing all store employees, overseeing daily operations including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Ensures store processes such as ordering, receiving, stocking, and presentation are executed effectively to meet sales and profitability targets. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff in compliance with legal and company policies. Communicate performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and address employee development needs. Manage store opening and closing, ensuring proper staffing and security protocols. Analyze financial statements to identify trends, control expenses, and prevent shrinkage. Maintain optimal inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and ensure merchandise presentation standards. Uphold cash handling, safety, and security procedures, ensuring store integrity and compliance. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment. Ensure all store operations adhere to company policies, complete required documentation, and utilize appropriate tools and equipment. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures. Strong math skills for calculations and inventory analysis. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Experience with recruiting, training, counseling, and legal compliance in employment practices. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds, standing, and moving merchandise. Preferred: Bilingual skills in Spanish. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Management experience in retail preferred. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts. Occasional outdoor exposure and climbing.
