Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care - $1,839 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel As a Respiratory Therapist you will provide direct patient care in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments in accordance with procedural guidelines. Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, and maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to the director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for the patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. They must be able to lift up to 20 pounds routinely and occasionally lift patients up to 50 pounds. They must possess the required vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. Requirements: NBRC, ACLS, BLS, PALS, 2 years of experience. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend to be determined. #J-18808-Ljbffr
