Scrum Master

Job Title

Mandatory Skills:

Scrum Alliance CSM CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP)

Knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum techniques

Experience working in Finance Services

Job Responsibilities:

Proven experience and success working as a Scrum Master or in a similar role facilitating agile teams, with a track record of successful project delivery.

Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including both Scrum and Kanban.

Exceptional leadership and team-building skills to inspire and motivate team members.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Proficiency in using agile project management tools - JIRA for managing backlogs and tracking progress.

High level of organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.

Facilitates Agile processes including sprint iteration planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint demo and retrospectives and release planning

Ensures user stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities

Support risk and issue identification, and mitigation activities with the agile team including raising those in a proactive and professional fashion, when appropriate

Facilitates periodic Reviews and Retrospectives by tracking report status through consistent, standardized dashboards and metric reporting

Improve transparency and visibility across the Client organization within and outside of the team

Build a safe and trusting environment where conflicts can be managed effectively and professionally
