Store Manager

Summary: full-time, 35-40 hours per week, $40k-$50k salary, performance bonuses, nights and weekends required. Run day-to-day operations and facility maintenance, ordering/inventory, scheduling/hiring, online orders, and taproom events. Join Our Team as a Taproom Manager at Books & Brews Indy! What You’ll Be Doing As our Taproom Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our taproom runs smoothly and continues to be a welcoming space for all. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the taproom, ensuring everything runs efficiently. Managing and mentoring a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Monitoring inventory and coordinating with vendors to keep our taps flowing and shelves stocked. Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests feel at home. Handling scheduling, staff training, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Collaborating with the team to plan and execute events that bring the community together. Facility maintenance and repair Music equipment maintenance and repair Ordering, taking inventory, handling online sales of retail products What We’re Looking For We’re searching for a leader who’s passionate about craft beer, community, and creating unforgettable experiences. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food, beverage, or hospitality industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to keep the taproom running like a well-oiled machine. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff and customers alike. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to challenges on the fly. Working knowledge (or strong desire to learn) about board games, trading cards, books, and theme events we run including karaoke, live music, trivia, bingo, and more!
