Location Specific Requirements

Ages of children seen: 2 and up but there are not many kids at all. Mostly all adults Providers (NP, MD, PA): Sandi is a NP, there is no MD for any STI location. We have PA's, NP's Building specific information (parking, entrance and building, etc): park at P6 the side with the gate/turnpike. Use badge (already has one) to get in. walk through turnpike and enter through P6 door labeled with Marathon signage. Walk straight through factory and there is a sign pointing to the Marathon Health clinic on the left Security requirements: just that a badge is needed to enter and there is a gate- can get through with badge Fee Collection: yes Onsite Dispensing: yes Home Med participation? no Any other skills/licensures/requirements BAT/UDS/DOT Occupational health? yes Workers Comp? yes Is women's health required for temp/locum coverage? yes Health center staffing model: 1:1 one provider one MA

Job Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting both the front and back office, including greeting and rooming patients, scheduling, answering phones, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines, and providing additional clinical support wherever needed. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center's staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (in addition to an externship)
• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
• Attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with patients and strong computer skills required
• You should want to work in an environment where health education and outreach is important to you and challenges you to make a difference
