Job Title: PEOPLESOFT Developer – Sacramento, CA Client: The California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) Duration: 12 Months Compensation: DOE Qualifications/Experience Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) on Oracle database version 12c or higher, including hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft (Financials). Five (5) years of expert experience as a Senior DBA supporting databases on Red Hat Linux 7.x or higher and performing Unix shell scripting. Five (5) years of expert experience performing Oracle database upgrades and migrations to the latest Oracle supported version. Five (5) years of experience supporting Oracle databases on ASM (Automatic Storage Management). Five (5) years of experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) database version 12c or higher. Five (5) years of expert experience as a DBA supporting databases with a size of at least 10 TB. Five (5) years of experience writing documentation (standards, best practices, procedures). Five (5) years of experience with Oracle 12c or higher, including: Using Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack, Change Management Pack, and/or Automatic Workload Repository (AWR). Writing and tuning PL/SQL objects. Supporting Oracle databases that utilize RMAN backups to disk or other mediums. Supporting Oracle databases using replication/materialized views. Supporting Oracle databases using triggers. Five (5) years of experience as a DBA supporting government retirement and benefit database systems similar to CalPERS. Three (4) years of experience supporting Oracle databases in VMWare and Cohesity environment. Oracle DBA 11g or higher Certified Professional (must provide proof of certification).
