Registration Clerk

POSITION: REGISTRATION CLERK MADISONVILLE CLINIC HOURS: Full-Time Position The Registration Clerk will be responsible for assisting the public and registering all patients coming into the facility. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Registers all patients who come to the clinic. Follows HIPPA protocols. Must obtain a complete and accurate patient demographic information. Gathers insurance information and any other pertinent billing information. Has a thorough working knowledge of the registration department including all policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public. Represents a caring, friendly and professional attitude to the patient/family or public that he/she has contact with. Performs such other duties and tasks given by supervisor. Qualifications: Education: Graduate from High School or equivalent. Prefer two (2) year degree to include a medical terminology course.
