Certified Massage Therapist

Are you an experienced wellness professional who loves helping people feel their best? We're hiring a professional, client-oriented, certified massage therapist. We're looking for a dynamic team player with experience in a variety of massage techniques, including prenatal massage, a deep commitment to creating a positive client experience, and experience treating a range of physical conditions and creating individualized wellness plans. You must have graduated with at least 500 hours of massage education and hold an active CAMTC certification. If this sounds like you, apply today! Responsibilities: • Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment • Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client • Offer general wellness maintenance advice to clients such as stretching and strengthening techniques • Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development • Keep track of client treatment records and plans, and monitor improvement • Prepare the massage table and necessary products to apply to the client’s skin • Provide added value to clients with suggestions for stretching, strengthening, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance • Cultivate a welcoming work environment by making positive relationships with clients and staff • Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs • Provide therapeutic deep-tissue, myofascial release, and prenatal massage to alleviate pain and improve biomechanical function; cupping is a plus • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment recommendations • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply appropriate techniques • Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient progress • Ensure a high level of patient service and comfort throughout each session • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment • Use your best communication skills with the doctor, staff, and patients Qualifications: • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent degree • Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology • Must be excellent at communication and interpersonal relationships • Must have graduated from high school or received an equivalent degree • +1 year of massage therapy experience • Must have licensure that complies with state and local laws; CAMTC certification • You must be authorized to work in the US • You must be willing to undergo a background check Compensation: $35 - $45 hourly
