What To Expect
The Vehicle Manufacturing Controls team is expanding its scope to include the electrical design and the management of electrical equipment fabrication, installation, and commissioning for new manufacturing lines to support the overall mission of building a world of amazing abundance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (infrastructure, equipment design team, process design team, automation, purchasing, and program management), external contractors, and vendors to deliver an integrated manufacturing solution. EPLAN experience is important in this role. What You'll Do Review line layout concepts to finalize electrical scoppTransform concept layouts / designs into fabrication & installation drawingsUtilize EPLAN for design and developmentReview electrical drawings and calculate power loadsDesign and implement equipment safety as per international and local codes and standardsCoordinate, schedule, and manage all electrical installation and commissioning activitiesSupport internal and third parties to obtain required permitsPerform acceptance tests and equipment buy-offs What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience3-5+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering desiredProficiency in designing electrical controls and power distribution systems in EPLAN P8Proficiency in field network topologies and control systemsKnowledge in electrical designs for different regions including NFPA standards or equivalentProven experience in large scale construction management; multi-trade with demanding timelines Site safety management with respect to electrical installations (LOTO, commissioning procedures)Experience creating and maintaining project documentation, drawings, reports, permits, etc. Benefits
