This contract opportunity runs through June 4th, offering a fulfilling role with a dependable daytime schedule—working 8:00am to 3:15pm (7.25 hours daily)—and a chance to make real impact supporting elementary and select middle school students.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in an educational setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage a split schedule across multiple school locations
• Interest in providing supervision for a COTA, if required

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver OT services to elementary and some middle school students in two districts (Bangor: K-4 and 5-12; Hartford: K-5 and 6-12)
• Address IEP goals and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Adapt interventions and strategies to meet varied student needs
• Organize and manage your flexible weekly schedule; typically two days each in Hartford and Bangor, with the fifth day reserved for paperwork, evaluations, or additional services based on your judgment
• Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and student progress tracking
