Role description Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team to join an established and growing multi-national engineering team. We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational and team building skills, who feels comfortable with a dynamic workflow. This position can report to any of our Western United States offices and offers flexibility through hybrid work arrangements. Role accountabilities Our services encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at engineering design and optimization support for treatment systems. You will specialize in providing program support for a diverse portfolio of projects underway, catering to both industrial clients and the US Federal Government. In this role, you will support engineering design and optimization for treatment systems and remediation projects across industrial and US Federal Government portfolios, and prepare complex technical specifications, permit applications, and reports for civil and environmental projects. You will apply proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., HydroCAD, HEC-RAS), ensuring designs comply with local, state, and federal codes, standards, and regulations. The successful candidate will also contribute to the planning, design, and oversight of: Landfills, wastewater systems, impoundments, channels, levees, and drainage systems. Stormwater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, roads, and other civil/environmental infrastructure. Support land development, erosion/sediment controls, road design (e.g., haul roads, forest service roads), and river restoration and stormwater permitting Participate in field assignments (construction oversight, inspections, site assessments). Interpret and evaluate field and analytical data to develop engineering deliverables. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution. Ideal candidates will also be self-motivated and have the ability to work successfully and efficiently in a team setting, as well as independently/remotely. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $90,288- $135,432.
