Job: Data Engineer (Snowflake/SQL/R, DBT)
Number of openings: 2
Location: Hybrid 2-3 times per week in Richardson TX (MUST be local)
Term: 4+ months
Visa : GC EAD, OPT EAD, H4 EAD and L2 EAD only are egligible

Skills
• 4-5 years of experience
• Must have bachelor's or master's in computer science
• MUST have R experience - need someone who can do a little reporting in R
• Strong SQL experience, PostgreSQL - Must be able to write complex sql queries
• Snowflake
• DBT
• Project is advisory segment line - managing brokerage, bringing in pipeline data in various places and bringing to one central platform. More to fine-tine what opps to focus on, some intelligence, but looking at someone who can manage pipelines written and do reporting in R
• Database Performance Tuning, Database Management, Requirements Analysis, Software Development Fundamentals, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Data Maintenance, Database Security, Promoting Process Improvement, System Administration.
• Advanced SQL skills - Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, and SQL Tuning
• Expertise in translating business requirements to project design, development, and execution
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to clearly communicate capabilities, opportunities, and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical audiences
