Part Time Maintenance TechnicianWoodland Recovery Center provides evidence-based, multi-level care for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning, lawn maintenance and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate for this position has proven experience in a maintenance role and outstanding organizational and communication skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior (basic electrical and plumbing, carpentry, drywall, etc.)Performs basic low voltage wiring (i.e. Cat 6 E) and point-to-point troubleshooting on CCTV, Burglar, Fire, Keyless Access and Intercom equipment.Respond to and close out work orders, while maintaining ongoing maintenance scheduleContact and schedule vendors and contractors for building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenanceComplete general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscapingCare for established lawns by mulching, weeding, mowing and trimming as neededProper use of equipment such as shovels, rakes, hedger, brush trimmers, riding and walk-behind mowersSnow and ice removal (location dependent)Upkeep of pool to meet state standards (location dependent)Site ambassador to enforce health and safety best practices (fire safety, slips, trips and falls, etc.)Assist with site set up/cleanup for events at locationFill in for Manager on an as needed basisCommunicate with cross-functional teams to tend to priority needsComplete trainings as assignedEmbody brand values by fostering a growth mindset, demanding integrity from self and others, setting higher standards and working togetherRequirementsHigh school diploma/GED requiredComputer knowledgeAbility to work independently or on a team, with minimal supervision while staying highly motivatedMust have outstanding communication and customer service skillsAbility to read and interpret written informationFlexibility with schedule, including availability to work on-call, nights and weekendsPreferred Requirements1-3 years of experience preferredHVAC certification preferredAdditional licenses or certifications preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk and reach continuallyAbility to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequentlyAbility to frequently lift and carry up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry up to 75 lbs.Ability to use hands and fingers, talk or hearWork environment is both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsAt Bradford Health Services, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive and rewarding workplace for our employees.
