Job Description: The Associate - Securitization Private Origination, Specialty Finance is responsible for serving as support for the Asset Securitization Group of TD Securities (USA) LLC. This position will support the Specialty Finance division in New York by supporting the structuring, underwriting, and execution of specialty finance securitizations and secured lending facilities. Key Responsibilities: Support the structuring, underwriting, and execution of specialty finance securitizations and secured lending facilities. Analyze collateral performance, credit quality, concentration risks, and historical loss trends to assess transaction risk and sizing. Build and maintain cash flow, borrowing base, and stress-testing models used for underwriting, credit approvals, and investor discussions. Review transaction documents and summarize key structural features, covenants, triggers, and risk mitigants. Prepare credit memoranda, transaction summaries, and internal approval materials. Coordinate with clients, legal counsel, rating agencies, investors, and internal teams throughout transaction execution and closing. Assist with due diligence, including collateral data analysis, portfolio reviews, and reconciliation of reporting packages. Monitor existing transactions, including collateral performance, covenant compliance, trigger testing, and portfolio trends. Support annual reviews, amendments, renewals, and new issuance opportunities across the portfolio. Develop client presentations, market updates, and specialty finance sector analysis to support origination efforts.
