Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment requiring Level I Trauma experience and a PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room unit in a teaching hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00-23:00)
• General OR setting required, with Level I Trauma and Ambulatory OR experience preferred
• No floating required
• No weekend requirements
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA state RN license or compact license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Level I Trauma experience required (hard requirement)
• 4 years of OR experience preferred, minimum 2 years required
• Prior charge experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be proficient in both scrub and circulate duties
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration
• Valid references and certification copies required

Additional Information

• Perform scrub and circulate duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including general, vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurology, trauma, cardiovascular, urology, ENT, and bariatric surgery
• Exposure to robotic-assisted surgical systems and advanced surgical equipment may be required
• PA fingerprinting and Childline clearance required, which may involve travel and processing time of up to several weeks
• Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate differential
• RTO must be finalized prior to consideration, as changes after this point cannot be accommodated
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided experience requirements are met
