Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and document using the medication administration record; monitor residents and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including ADLs, mobility assistance, and routine clinical assessments, per individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, observe for clinical changes, and implement appropriate interventions in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Assist with wound care, basic procedures, and routine treatments following established protocols and physician orders.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record; communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care and safety.
• Maintain infection control practices, safety standards, and compliance with facility policies during all nursing activities.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
• Local candidates only
• Ability to work the stated night shift (7:00 PM–6:30 AM) and participate in a 4-week assignment
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
• Willingness to adhere to facility policies and safety guidelines
