Desktop Support Technician

Our client is hiring a Desktop Support Technician to join their team on a 6-12 month contract, with the potential for extension. This individual will support users both onsite and remotely, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, set up new users, assist with onsite projects, and manage inventory.


Environment
* Predominantly Microsoft environment with Lenovo laptops
* Transitioned away from desktops; primarily supporting laptops and tablets
* Provide white-glove service and hands-on troubleshooting
* Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID, including Group Policy, PowerShell, and Intune


Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with end users
* Proven troubleshooting experience and the ability to work through issues independently
* Familiarity with using knowledge base articles (KBAs) to resolve problems
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
