MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Cytotechnologist to join a world-renowned healthcare institution operating throughout the greater Chicago region! Cyto Tech Responsibilities:
- Performs routine screening of specimens, reports results and documents daily workload records.
- Performs cytological examinations of GYN and non-GYN specimens.
- Evaluates processed specimens from multiple collection devices according to manufacturers' specifications.
- Performs quality control assessment, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assists with the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens.
ASCP Cytology Technician Requirements/Qualifications:
- CT (ASCP) or eligible within one year of employment.
