Company Description Couples Therapy Services is a group counseling practice with offices in Princeton and Manalapan, New Jersey, dedicated to supporting relationship and family wellbeing. The practice provides specialized therapy for couples, parents of young children, blended families, and other relational dynamics. Services are offered to clients throughout New Jersey, primarily through convenient online counseling options. The team emphasizes accessibility, inviting clients to call or text to schedule appointments and build a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Clinicians join a supportive environment focused on meaningful, evidence-based care for diverse couples and families. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Couples Therapist role based in Princeton, NJ. The therapist will provide individual and conjoint sessions for couples and families, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing psychotherapy focused on relationship issues. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a caseload, documenting clinical work in accordance with ethical and legal standards, and coordinating care with other clinicians in the practice when needed. The therapist will use evidence-based approaches to address communication challenges, conflict resolution, parenting concerns, and relational transitions. Additional responsibilities may include participation in case consultation, professional development activities, and contributing to a collaborative, client-centered practice culture. Qualifications Licensure or license eligibility in New Jersey (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW, PsyD, PhD) and adherence to all relevant ethical and regulatory standards. Demonstrated experience providing couples and/or family therapy, including skills in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based relationship interventions. Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively with diverse couples and families. Ability to maintain organized clinical documentation, manage a full-time caseload, and use practice management or electronic health record systems. Commitment to cultural humility, inclusive care, and non-discriminatory practice across different backgrounds, identities, and family structures. Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
