UNIT SUPERVISOR (SAFETY)

Unit Supervisor (Safety) Location: Central California Women's Facility, Chowchilla, CA. Permanent, 12‑month limited term (may become permanent). Salary: $9,697.00 – $10,797.00 per month. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Chief Nurse Executive or Supervising Registered Nurse, and in collaboration with the Senior Registered Nurse, the Unit Supervisor (Safety) is responsible for: planning, assigning, supervising, and evaluating the work of nursing and other assigned staff in a mental health service line delivery area; disseminating, implementing, and monitoring adherence to policies and procedures; applying supervisory rules and principles; resolving personnel issues; setting goals for self and others; ensuring continuity of quality patient care; and actively supporting the Complete Care Model. Minimum Requirements Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing, or a Psychiatric Technician license issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, and meet all other qualifications specified in the Classification Specification.
