IT Support Specialist [Remote]

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution
- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity
- Install and maintain security software and protocols
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person
- Train employees on the use of new software and hardware
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new systems and upgrades
- Maintain inventory of all hardware and software assets
- Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
- Document all IT processes and procedures for future reference
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with network administration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
