Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Day-to-Day:

The resource conducts nurse visits and performs and documents wound dressing changes, assessing postoperative wounds for healing progress and potential complications. They accompany the physician on rounds, assist during examinations, and facilitate thorough wound evaluations. Throughout the day, they see patients alongside the provider, manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms and supplies, and reinforce patient education to ensure continuity of care. At the end of each day, they complete follow-ups, close encounters, and finalize documentation to support quality outcomes and team coordination.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certification

Experience in surgical care experience and wound care knowledge
Experience in home health (ideal)
BLS Certification


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Worked in a surgical practice
