Forklift Operator Warehouse & Production

A manufacturing and warehouse facility in Canandaigua is seeking dependable Forklift Operators to support warehouse and production operations. This position is responsible for safely moving materials and finished products, loading and unloading trucks, staging product, and supporting inventory activities.

Compensation & Schedule

• A Shift: 12:00 AM 8:00 AM | $20.57/hour
• C Shift: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM | $20.07/hour

What You'll Do

• Operate sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks
• Move, stage, and store materials and finished products
• Support warehouse and production operations
• Use scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Verify product counts, IDs, destinations, and carrier information
• Complete shipping and inventory documentation
• Perform material transfers according to established procedures
• Complete daily forklift inspections
• Change forklift propane tanks as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

What We're Looking For

• 12 years of warehouse/forklift experience preferred
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts, double-fork or clamp trucks preferred
• Previous forklift training or certification is a plus
• Ability to successfully complete required forklift training and skills testing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/production environment

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 40 lbs. The warehouse/production environment may include heat, cold, dust, and machinery noise.
