YZ Systems is looking for a new Field Service Technician to join its service team. Area Of Expertise Repair and Calibrate DTEX DX-1000G natural gas equipment Typical Roles/Area Of Focus Managing repair and return process Inventory control Evaluate, repair and testing of returns Shipping and Receiving Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards Attend scheduled EH&S training program Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans Recommend improved EH&S practices This position is physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move weight limits in line with the safety policy of at least 35 lbs or more individually. Maintains rapport with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques and recommending system improvements. This position requires working in diverse conditions, at times requiring analysis and troubleshooting, including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, and precarious places. Level Of Responsibility Under direct supervision, employee will perform varied tasks of intermediate complexity Applies basic and some intermediate skills to perform functions in the execution of existing procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to the position within assigned area Resolves routine questions and problem, and refers more complex issues to higher levels Typical Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent.
