Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and account analysis in support of month-end and year-end close Support the monthly close process by ensuring AR-related entries are accurate and submitted in adherence to close deadlines Prepare monthly AR aging reports and DSO analysis for finance leadership, highlighting trends and risks to collections Manage global customer aging to drive timely collections and ensure accurate payment allocation, supporting a strong company cash position Partner with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and Revenue Accounting to resolve billing disputes, credit holds, payment inquiries, and ensure accurate invoicing Ensure proper revenue recognition and accurate customer invoicing Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries related to AR and collections Education and Experience BA degree in Accounting or other Finance related field and 3 to 5 years of working experience Strong working knowledge of using formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookup in MS Excel Our Hiring Process is “Easy with eGain” Step 1 Aptitude section – this is a GRE style test (60 minutes or less) Functional section – this is a take-home test Step 2 Panel interview (in-person at eGain Sunnyvale office) Compensation Salary range is $80,000 to $100,000 per year Stock options.
