Requirements

• Required certification: Med/Surg
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Med Surg and Rehab settings; common patient diagnosis: SCVA, SCI, TBI, amputee, multi-trauma 3. Certifications: BLS required; CRRN preferred; CPI Blue Cert highly preferred 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights 7p-7a; may be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block 8. RTO: All requests must be included with submission 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning; after July 1, 2025, travelers cannot return after working 365 days despite separation period 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (within 100 miles) not accepted; 50-99.9 miles may be considered for one assignment with no extension; under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate with no extension 11.
