INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY

Insurance Defense Attorney FBO is a successful, growing firm that embraces diversity and is seeking a Litigation Insurance Defense Attorney with 5-7 years of trial experience. The position provides a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a strong litigation team. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of insurance defense matters (auto, general liability, construction, products liability, and property damage) up to and through trial, including discovery, court appearances, depositions/examinations under oath, expert issues, and client management. Communicate with clients, experts, and witnesses to prepare for and complete trial testimony. Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and required client reports. Render opinions on liability, damages, and case value. Appear before courts and arbitrators/mediators. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school. Admitted to the New Jersey Bar. Must have completed at least five civil trials. 5-7 years of previous litigation experience, including one or two first‑bench trials. Experience with insurance defense, general liability, and construction litigation. Ability to integrate into a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Exceptional writing and communication skills. Computer proficiency. Ability to maintain/enter billable time. Ability to prioritize assignments and case load with trial schedule. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexible schedule and commitment to quality client service and completion deadlines. Good standing with the New Jersey Bar and willingness to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, etc. Benefits FBO offers a comprehensive benefits package.
