About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for IT Commercial and Patient Operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic and highly collaborative leader, responsible for establishing and leading the IT Commercial and Patient Operations function. This role is pivotal in enabling the US commercial launch strategy and driving IT launch milestones. The Executive Director will own the end-to-end IT commercial and medical affairs roadmap, ensuring alignment with commercial milestones, and will be the key liaison between the US commercial organization and global IT. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of IT experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including 7 years in senior leadership roles. Deep knowledge of the commercial and medical affairs pharma systems landscape is essential, and experience in cell and gene therapy is strongly preferred. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include refining and executing the IT commercial and patient operations strategy, delivering the commercial systems portfolio, and establishing the commercial data foundation. The role also involves managing vendors, external partners, and implementation providers, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements. The candidate should have a proven track record in leading IT for commercial product launch readiness, experience in commercial data management, and a strong background in GxP/CSV, 21 CFR Part 11, and healthcare data privacy requirements. The role demands a leader with executive presence, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence and align senior leaders and stakeholders. Strong governance, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities in a multi-project environment are also required.
