(On call) Message Therapist

Responsibilities Perform and provide body treatments and massages for spa guests. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Certified Massage Therapist for the State of California and have a permit for the City of La Quinta. 2 years in massage therapy practice or in a resort spa as a therapist preferred. Previous customer service experience preferred. Job Requirements Regular attendance in conformance with resort standards. OSHA PPE usage required during work duties that pose potential health or safety risks. Maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance; hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back in a presentable fashion. Guest Interaction No soliciting of guests is allowed.
