MRI Technologist

JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of disease by utilizing magnetic resonance imaging equipment. Key Responsibilities Performs MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders. Operates MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images. Ensures patient safety during MRI procedures, including screening for contraindications. Prepares patients for MRI scans, including explaining the procedure and answering questions. Administers contrast media as required and according to protocol. Maintains patient records and documentation. Performs quality assurance checks on MRI equipment. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Adheres to all safety and infection control policies and procedures. Schedule / Shift Wednesday through Friday: 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM Saturday overnight: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience. Experience with Siemens MRI scanners. Phlebotomy skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills. Certifications ARRT CPR ARMRIT is also accepted. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
