Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tool Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Bachelor's Degree and 6-33 years of experience
• Candidate should also have a professional engineering certificate, and have the ability to perform stress analysis as well as stamp it.
• 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Aerospace Tooling
• CATIA v5
• Professional Engineering

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Experience with utilizing Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems
• Femap

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

9/80 workweek.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
