Role Description The Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on‑site role based in Hingham, MA, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations within Black Rock Country Club’s dining facilities. This role includes supervising front‑of‑house staff, managing reservations and seating, monitoring service standards, and ensuring a smooth, efficient guest experience. The Restaurant Manager coordinates with the culinary team on menu execution, specials, and events, and handles opening and closing procedures, cash controls, and inventory oversight. Key responsibilities also involve training and coaching team members, assisting with hiring decisions, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and club policies. The role requires regular evening, weekend, and holiday availability to support peak service times and member events. Qualifications Strong customer‑focused mindset, with skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction. Experience in Hiring, team leadership, and staff training within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with guests and team members. Hands‑on Food & Beverage knowledge, including dining room operations, menu comprehension, and service standards. Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar supervisory role in hospitality. Proficiency in scheduling and beverage ordering, and Jonas Software experience is a plus but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods, move between dining areas, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
