Senior Front End Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop React-based tools and capabilities extending Lattice OS for command and control, missile defense mission planning and execution, networking, and remote asset management.
• Own front-end decisions for a team of more than 30 engineers.
• Collaborate with customers, product designers, and engineering teams to shape and build software products and applications.
• Build, test, deploy, and demonstrate mission-critical code with end users.
• Develop reusable software components across Anduril product lines and travel up to 25% for customer events and real-world deployments.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Proficiency with web technologies, specifically React and TypeScript.
• Experience building real-time user interfaces with reactive programming libraries such as React.
• Ability to translate user needs into features, balance user experience with engineering constraints, and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Preferred qualifications include military operator-facing UI development, military customer experience, distributed communication networks and message standards, and knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.
