Nicole's family in Woodbury, Minnesota is seeking a part-time live-out elder care provider to offer companionship, home care, respite, and personal care services. The family is offering a competitive rate of $20.00 per hour. They are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and experienced in providing support to elderly individuals. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about Alzheimer’s care and be able to engage the elderly family member in meaningful activities, assist with daily tasks, and provide companionship while ensuring their safety and well-being. We seek elder care assistance for a 80 year-old male with Alzheimer’s. He currently lives with his spouse, a 75-year-old female who could use some help with supervision and organization and respite care. We are currently thinking one visit a week would be good to start out, but this likely will increase in the future and needs may change as the illness progresses. We are looking for someone that speaks English, has experience with Alzheimer’s patients, and is willing to come to Woodbury, MN. Currently the needs are: Weekly check-ins to update family calendar, reminders about important appointments or dates. medicine organization and checks Grooming checks, nutrition checks Communication of medical, emotional, general status to family Light housekeeping or food prep Possible help organizing transportation to appointments Possible contact person or occasional additional visits if wife is not at home. in-home caregiver or home health agency must be licensed or certified as required by the state of MN.
