Senior/Supervisor AccountantPosition OverviewThe Senior/Supervisor Accountant will be responsible for Auditing Employee Benefit Plans. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to manage a team of accountants to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial activities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to internal policies.Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including IRS requirements and internal controls.Provide expertise in employee benefit plans and retirement funds, including 401K and 403b plans.Prepare and file Form 5500 and other required documentation related to benefit plans.Support the organization in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and analysis.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Experience with employee benefit plans and retirement accounting.CPA certification is preferred but not required.Familiarity with IRS regulations and compliance standards.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.BenefitsFull health insurance (medical, dental vision)401k w/matchGenerous PTOSTD/LTD insuranceLife insuranceTuition assistanceContinuing education assistanceCPA review course & sitting fee assistance Much more!
