Member Support Associate

General Purpose of Job This position is responsible for identifying and responding to member service needs via telephone, in person, or other channels and promoting cooperative services and products. The role may involve overtime, on‑call, and call‑out duties after normal working hours, including weekends and holidays, to address power outages and emergency situations. Requirements Education Minimum: High School or GED Preferred: Two (2) year associate’s degree in a business‑related field Preferred: Business administration, communication, and Microsoft applications Experience Minimum: Two (2) years’ recent customer service or call center experience. Preferred: Cash handling experience. Preferred: Experience within an electric utility or related industry. Other Requirements Ability to operate office equipment including a personal computer, printers, copy machines, and telephone. Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and to flex schedule, including short‑notice emergency work. Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving record for local business travel. Normal work hours: 7:00 am‑7:00 pm, Monday‑Friday. Possibility of 8‑hour rotating shifts Monday‑Friday; requires flexibility for overtime, call‑outs, and on‑call assignments. Successful completion of pre‑employment background check, physical, and drug screen. Living Requirement Employees must live within one (1) hour of the assigned reporting location.
