Director of Rehabilitation Location: Willmar, MN Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Compensation: $40-$48/hour Position Overview We are seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead therapy services at a skilled nursing facility in Willmar, Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rehabilitation professional looking to lead a collaborative therapy team while continuing to provide direct patient care. Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate therapy staff. Manage departmental staffing, scheduling, and productivity. Develop and oversee department budgets and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and quality measures. Oversee therapy documentation and department audits. Identify opportunities to grow and enhance therapy services. Provide direct patient evaluations and treatment within your licensed discipline. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Develop evidence-based treatment plans and clinical best practices. Assist with insurance authorizations and reimbursement processes. Monitor equipment maintenance and department inventory. Lead staff meetings, educational programs, and ongoing training initiatives. Foster positive relationships with patients, families, healthcare providers, and facility leadership. Qualifications Education One of the following is required: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Occupational Therapy Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Current state licensure in the applicable discipline is required. Experience Five or more years of clinical therapy experience preferred. Previous rehabilitation leadership or management experience preferred. Experience leading multidisciplinary therapy teams is highly desirable.
