Market Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst to gather industry and channel intelligence through direct engagement with industry participants, identify emerging market trends and competitive developments, and translate this primary research into actionable insights for internal teams. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly analytical, and comfortable engaging and initiating conversations with industry executives, customers, suppliers, distributors, and other market participants to gather firsthand market intelligence. Success in this role requires the ability to collect information from multiple sources, identify meaningful patterns, and communicate findings clearly and concisely. Key Responsibilities Conduct primary research through outreach and conversations with industry participants to gather market and channel intelligence. Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including executives, customers, suppliers, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders. Research industry trends, competitive dynamics, market developments, and emerging opportunities across assigned sectors. Monitor industry activity and identify signals that may impact market performance, competitive positioning, or customer behavior. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear, actionable research reports and presentations. Transform fragmented or unstructured information into organized insights that support decision-making. Collaborate with internal research team members to develop industry perspectives and support ongoing research initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in market research, industry research, consulting, competitive intelligence, business analysis, or a similar research-oriented role. Demonstrated ability to engage directly with industry participants, customers, executives, or subject matter experts to gather information and insights. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with confidence initiating conversations and developing professional relationships. Strong analytical thinking and the ability to organize, evaluate, and interpret unstructured information. Ability to identify meaningful trends, competitive developments, and market signals from multiple information sources. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting primary research interviews or market intelligence projects. Familiarity with channel research, competitive analysis, or industry monitoring. Experience producing written research reports, market assessments, or strategic analyses.
