The role is focused on the strategic plan, budgeting, forecasting, and internal corporate reporting. The role reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager supporting the Zurn Finance team and will be responsible for critical financial analysis, process improvements, preparation of monthly reporting packages, journal entries, and account reconciliations.Support the preparation of the annual strategic planning and budgeting process by consolidating, analyzing and communicating trends and key drivers to Corporate leadership.Understand and analyze monthly/quarterly financial results of corporate departments and clearly articulate themes and performance drivers to management and corporate department leaders.Lead the month-end close process for the Corporate functions including the preparation of monthly/quarterly variance analysis and balance sheet account reconciliations.Support business units by executing various ad hoc analysis and projects that differ based on current needs.Support other finance related functions (Tax, Treasury, FP&A).QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of accounting or finance experience with a larger corporation (manufacturing experience preferred).Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, OneStream, and Visual Lease is a plus.Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights.Excellent organizational, planning, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.Strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner.Strong problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks.Highly motivated with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of processes to facilitate continuous improvement.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables and dynamic formulas.Total Rewards and BenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life InsuranceMatching 401(k) ContributionHealth Savings AccountUp to 3 weeks starting Vacation (may increase with tenure)12 Paid HolidaysAnnual Bonus EligibilityEducational ReimbursementMatching Gift ProgramEmployee Stock Purchase Plan – purchase company stock at a discount!**THIRD PARTY AGENCY: Any unsolicited submissions received from recruitment agencies will be considered property of Zurn Elkay, and we will not be liable for any fees or obligations related to those submissions.**Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
