Role: Senior Java Technical Lead - RESTful API, Spring Boot
\nLocation: Edison NJ (Face to face mandatory)
\n \nJob Summary :
\nWe are seeking a Payments Backend Developer for the GPLT (Global Payments & Liquidity Technology) team.
\nThe candidate should have 8 years and above strong experience in Java backend development, microservices, Kafka/MQ, cloud-native applications, and payment processing platforms.
\n \nLONG DESCRIPTION
\nKey Responsibilities
\n• Develop and maintain Java microservices and payment applications
\n• Build scalable APIs and event-driven solutions
\n• Support payment modernization and cloud migration initiatives
\n• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC
\n• Support deployments, production issues, and continuous improvement
\n \nIdeal candidate: A hands-on backend engineer with strong payments expertise and experience building scalable, high-performance banking applications.
\n \nSkill Requirements Key Skills:
\n• Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices
\n• Kafka, IBM MQ, Event-Driven Architecture
\n• Oracle/PostgreSQL/MongoDB
\n• OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker
\n• CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
\n \nPayments Domain Experience (Mandatory): Wire Payments, RTP, Fedwire, SWIFT, ISO 20022, Treasury Payments, Cross-Border Payments, Payment Hubs, or High-Value Transaction Processing.
