Certified Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate

Job Overview You will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our Primary Care office as a Certified Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate. Locations Float to the Old Bridge / Sayreville / East Brunswick / Edison locations. Responsibilities Take and record vital signs and EKGs. Prepare patients for examinations. Obtain and update patient medication lists and give injections. Authorize prescription refills as directed by physicians. Manage EMR, room patients, and perform clerical work as needed. Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification required. Proven working experience as a medical assistant and/or medical secretary. Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi‑task and prioritize work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills.
