About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency / ICU (Overflow)

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department overflow area
• Manage and care for ICU-level patients within the ED overflow setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Combined experience in both Emergency Department and ICU settings
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment
