Clinical Manager

Location: Orange, California Work Shift: Day – 08 hrs (United States of America) Job Summary The Manager of Specialty Clinics is responsible for developing and implementing operations for CHOC clinics in compliance with hospital and specialty clinic policies and procedures. The role includes recruiting, staffing, operational flow, and facilitation of billing and revenue cycle management. Pay Range Minimum $140,504 | Midpoint $186,181 | Maximum $231,837 Experience Required: Minimum five (5) years as an RN in an outpatient environment. Experience with third‑party payers including Medi‑Cal and CCS. Preferred: Previous experience in a pediatric ambulatory care setting. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree (candidates with a degree in progress will be considered). Training Required: Knowledge of JCAHO, CDPH and CCS regulations. Specialized Skills Required: Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; enforce policies; work calmly under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, collaborate; accept direction. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English at a level appropriate for safe job performance; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information accurately; pay close attention to detail. Licensure Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Nurse – CA (RN). Work Environments – Functional Demand Sedentary – Very light energy level. Lift 10‑lb box overhead. Lift and carry 15‑lb. Push/pull 20‑lb cart. Physical Activity Requirements Bending, Carry Objects, Climbing, Keyboard use/repetitive motion, Pinching/fine motor activities, Push/Pull, Reaching forward, Reaching overhead, Sitting, Squat/kneel/crawl (Squat & Knee), Standing, Talk or hear, Taste or smell, Twisting, Walking, Wrist position deviation. Sensory Requirements Color discrimination, depth perception, far vision, hearing, near vision.
