Primary Position Responsibilities Facilitate and Coordinate Total Patient Care Documentation of Care Maintain Professional Development Education of patient and family Patient Advocate Maintain Patient Safety Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing OR if Associates Degree or Diploma, RN must provide proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, be continuously enrolled and complete within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date. Required: Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): None Preferred: One year of acute care experience. Required: License, Registry or Certification: Current NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association CPR certification. Preferred: Certification in specialty. Required: Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Certified in ACLS and complete Critical care, and Vents training within one year of hire. They must also complete Basic arrhythmia Interpretation within 6 months. Preferred: PCCN or Cardio Vascular certification.
